The October 31, 1998 issue of the LockerGnome's Free Windows 95/98/NT E-Zine reviewed my WebFX website (a cool graphics tool you use over the web).
Can't find the right plug-ins to turn a "boring" web graphic into something a bit more interesting to look at? Here's a semi-perfect solution! Simply upload the graphic to your web site, load WebFX in your browser, choose which filter you'd like to use on the graphic, then apply it! All things considered, this is a relatively simple (and cheap) way to do some cool stuff with your graphics. "WebFX has eight different categories of effects, with a total of over four-dozen different effects." Several of them are animated! If you can't afford PhotoShop, this is a good "Internet-based" alternative.
