If you're playing "WordScram," and the game doesn't respond when you submit your words for scoring, it's probably due to Dictionary.com's website being unavailable.

Disable the "Dictionary.com Look-ups" option when you start your game of WordScram, and it should work fine.

No Timer

The way the countdown timer works for most users is through what's known as 'JavaScript' code. JavaScript is programming that gets embedded into a web page (the HTML), and provides interactivity within a page. Many websites use this for pop-up windows, buttons that change when you put the mouse or cursor over them, or to validate a form before you submit it.

If you do not have JavaScript (or it is disabled), the JavaScript timer will not work.
